1. Teaching methods
In Abaño I have sir Abner Villar as my cooperating teacher and sir Bryan Torres as my mentor from CNSC . both of them are very kind person they patiently taught me all the new things that I had to deal with, starting from a new environment, new friends, new teachers, even students that I would take care of for 1 month .
Mr. Villar is a lecturer in organic chemistry for first-year college students in Abaño campus, he also teaches science in 7th grade, so he is the right coordinator teacher for me to get knowledges hehe J . My first day in Abaño, Sir villar really excited to teach me about Daily lesson log and ‘Whole Brain Teaching(WBT)’ . sir villar has overtaken this technique for over 2 year to his students, honestly this technique is new for me and very helpful in controlling students during the learning process. WTB also provides punish and rewards for students who obey or violate class rules that have been made together before. Teaching method that use in this school are question-and answer, discussion under scientific approach.
2. Learning materials and innovation
teaching materials are book based on k-12 , discussion sheets, worksheets and others. in addition the teacher also displays vidio or images to increase student enthusiasm and provide more understanding in learning
3. Sources of learning and technology
learning resources used are book of k-12, and other books are used by the teacher as a source of information. during the learning process, the teacher use the interactive projector or projector. sometimes sir villar uses mirophones when teaching so that all students can hear clearly(improve children's intelligence through audio and visual)
4. Authentic assessment
there are several types of authentic assessment that will be given to students. Quiz or test will be given after the teacher explains the material, then there is also the midterm exam, and the last is final examination.
