The Camarines Norte State College originated from the former Camarines Norte High School established in 1920. On 23rd of June 1993 Parliamentary Bill No. 2378 was approved and signed into law converting Camarines Norte National High School (CNNHS). It was introduced in the House of Representatives by former Congressman Renato M. Unico. During the Fifth Regular Session and later signed into law by Her Excellency, President Corazon C. Aquino on 22nd of April 1992, known as RA 7352 converting the present Camarines Norte National High School in the Municipality of Daet into a State College to be known as Camarines Norte State College, integrating for the purpose the Abaño Pilot Elementary in Daet, Mercedes School of Fisheries in Mercedes, Camarines Norte National Agricultural School in Labo and the Camarines Norte School of Arts and Trade in Jose Panganiban, all in the Province of Camarines Norte.
I stay in main campus, but i had my teacher training in Camarines Norte state college- Abaño laboratory elementary and high school (semi-private) .The Abaño Pilot Elementary School, now Abaño Campus, has an area of 0.8684 hectares. It was established in 1953 and was designated the pilot school of the Division of Camarines Norte in 1959 and later became a regional pilot school by virtue of its good performance in the field of elementary education. Philanthropist Dr. Jose Abaño donated the lot. It houses the Secondary and Elementary Laboratory Schools of the College of Education and the CNSC Training Center.

Mission
The Camarines Norte State College shall provide higher and advance studies in the field of education, arts and science, economics, health, engineering, management, finace, accounting, business and public administration, fisheries, agriculture, natural resources development and management and ladderized courses. It shall also respond to research, extension and production services adherent to progressive leadership towards sustainable development.

We, at Camarines Norte State College, aiming to become a Premier Higher Education Institution in the Bicol Region, are committed to providing excellent services in instruction, research and extension that are responsive to the satisfaction of our students and other stakeholders.
2. Academic support system and Teaching system
Abaño laboratory elementar/high school (semi-private) consist of kindergarten class, elementary class, 1 calss for 7 grade and there is also class for students with special needs. Abaño campus is trying to fullfill sudent and teacher need in learning teaching process such as library, internet connection, projector, interactive projector, laptop/computer, printer, sports field and so forth. The school start on Monday and end on Friday, while Saturday and Sunday are free days. Class will be started at 7.30 am and end at 05.00 pm, it almost the same with some school in indonesia that using ‘full day school system’. Teacher only has one hour to teach the student in every subject, and no assignment on free days because its quality time and ‘free days’ for students.
3. Materials and other learning sources
Abaño school use materials base on book of K-12, K-12 is the common curicullum that used in Philippines. Under this curriculum students need to have 12 years of chool before college life. 1 year for kindergarten, 6 years for elementary school, 4 years for junior high school, and 2 years fo senior high school. Most of teacher and student own K-12 Books as main sources, but some case teacher also have other book as references when teaching. Teachers also create their own materials when teaching beside use vidio and pictures
4. Measurement and evaluation system
Evaluation wll be reported every quarter in year and in the end of the year. there will grading periodical examination and final exam for students in each study year.
5. Teaching plan (science major)
Science in Philippines are including Biology, Physics and chemistry. So when i was in Abaño school the science lesson that was being discussed was physics section. The teacher teaching plan is they need to make lesson plan, materials that need when teaching.
